Utilities
Greenside Lane operates its own water and wastewater systems, both managed by contracted professionals in compliance with with applicable standards and regulations. Small structures housing plant and equipment for the two systems are located on the south side of the property. Operating costs are included in condo fees; Greenside Lane residents do not pay municipal water or wastewater taxes or fees.
Water System
The water system uses three drilled wells which feed water to the treatment plant. There it is filtered, softened and chlorinated. A supply of treated water is stored in a concrete reservoir beneath the treatment plant. Our system maintainer monitors the system on a regular basis and tests the drinking water for organic substances monthly. Chlorine levels are checked daily. An alarm system monitors the pumps, reservoir level and other critical components. |

The gray water from each tank is pumped to an onsite treatment system on the south side of the property. There it is circulated through a sand filter system several times and discharged.
Our maintainer monitors the system on a regular basis and tests the treated water monthly. An alarm system monitors critical functions and the maintainer is on call to respond to any issues.

Owners are responsible for heating and air conditioning. All inside units (B & C) have electric heat. Fourteen of the eighteen end units (A & D) have oil heat; three others have full system heat pumps; one uses propane. A significant numbers of owners have installed split-system heat pumps for cooling and auxiliary heat.

Landscaping and snow removal services are provided by the condominium corporation. Monthly condo fees also cover the cost of property insurance – to the extent of the standard unit definition. Unit owners make individual arrangements for telephone, cable, internet, and electricity.
